Tiger Woods Has Been Asked About Playing Golf With President Trump – The Spun

On Wednesday morning, Tiger Woods revealed when he would take the course next. Woods is set to tee off in the Genesis Open from the Riviera Golf Course in Southern California this weekend.

It will be Tiger’s first time on the course in an official PGA capacity since he played in the Farmers Insurance Open near the end of January. Tiger finished the tournament at 10-under which was good for a tie for 20th place.

Woods’ most recent trip to the golf course, however, came with Donald Trump and Jack Nicklaus. Two weeks ago, President Trump tweeted a photo of the trio at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida.

On Wednesday, Tiger was asked about his round with the president. He kept the details to a minimum, but added “we just had a great time.”

Woods made sure to clarify he also played a round with former President Barack Obama earlier this year as well.

As for how Woods played during the round with Trump, the president suggested Woods will be back to winning majors this year.

For now, he’ll tee it up at the Genesis Open on Thursday afternoon. Tiger is scheduled for a 3:22 p.m. ET tee time.
