PM Modi to inaugurate ICD project, address rally in Rudrapur on Thursday – Times of India

RUDRAPUR:Prime ministerNarendra Modi will address a public rally atRudrapurto sound the bugle for Lok Sabha elections campaign and set the tone for the saffron party on Thursday. PM Modi is scheduled to arrive at the grounds of 31st PAC on Air India One at 2.55pm and then to the rally venue located at Kichha bypass at 3.15pm. He will be staying for about an hour at the rally ground, which has been decorated in saffron color.
According to party sources, the PM will inaugurate the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP), under which the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) is going to provide a loan of Rs 3,632 crore to theUttarakhandgovernment. The scheme will benefit over 50,000 farmers who will be given loans through primary agriculture credit societies (PACS).
The ground is expected to witness over one lakh party supporters, according to local BJP leaders. The party has put up hoardings of PM Modi all over the city. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the prime minister’s visit.
