Indian skipper Virat Kohli is enjoying some time off after a hectic tour of Australia, in which Team India scripted history by winning a double over the Aussies. India won the four-match Test series 2-1 and clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 to complete the historic double over Australia. Kohli, who was rested for the last two ODIs of the five-match series against New Zealand and the entire T20I series, has been enjoying his off-time with his wife and Bollywood superstar Anushka Sharma. On Thursday, which is also Valentine’s day, Kohli posted a photograph with Anushka as the power couple enjoyed dinner on their off-time.

Kohli took to social media platforms Instagram and Twitter to share the beautiful photograph with his wife Anushka. “About last night with my valentine.  #greatmeal #nueva #loveit @AnushkaSharma,” the 30-year-old captioned the photograph.

Recently, Virat became the first ever cricketer to bag all the top three ICC awards, after the swashbuckling batter was named the ICC cricketer of the year 2018 for both ODI and Test format. Kohli was also named the skipper of the ICC Test and ODI teams of the year after successfully leading India in both the formats.

Kohli had enjoyed a record-breaking year 2018 and had scored the most runs in ODI format. He scored 1202 in just 14 matches at a mind-boggling average of 133.55. The 30-year-old smashed five centuries and three fifties in the format. Not only that, but the skipper had also bagged 1322 runs in 13 matches in Test cricket, which was also the highest in 2018 in the longest format of the game. He further scored five tons and five half-centuries on his course to shatter every record that came his way.

Meanwhile, Anushka had also enjoyed a successful 2018 and was praised for her acting in some hit films like Pari, Sanju, Sui Dhaaga and Zero.

For the Indian team, the Virat Kohli-led side will next host Australia in two T20Is and five ODIs as the preparation for World Cup 2019 continues for the Men in Blue.
