Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 continues to roar at the box-office. The period action drama released on December 21 and has managed to cross the Rs 200 crore mark. With becoming the fourth highest grossing Hindi dubbed film, fans have been lauding Yash’s performance and the gripping screenplay. The film has managed to find its ground despite having Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and Ranveer Singh’s Simmba to tackle at the box-office.
While the Kannada version of the film continues to do well, the film has been roaring in the non-Kannada states too. With the film crossing Rs 200 crore across India, the Hindi version has locked it Rs 42 crore. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#KGF continues to withstand competition posed by new releases… First #Zero. Then #Simmba. Now #UriTheSurgicalStrike… Emerges a HIT… [Week 4] Fri 38 lakhs, Sat 55 lakhs, Sun 68 lakhs. Total: 42 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version.”
