The X Factor judge Louis Tomlinson and his wardrobe choices were targeted by Twitter fans tonight (November 10) with comparisons to a certain Harry Potter character.
Played by Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson, Cedric Diggory appeared in The Goblet of Fire before being killed by Peter Pettigrew (sob). Tomlinson’s sweatshirt was admittedly very similar in colour to Cedric’s costume.
It didn’t take long for the comments to start rolling in on social media, with the former One Direction star relentlessly battered with Triwizard Tournament references on Twitter.
Take a look at some of the shoutouts below.
There’s definitely worse comparisons to receive. After all, this guy was only in one Harry Potter movie and remains a fan favourite!
Meanwhile, James Arthur has recently described The X Factor judge as a “breath of fresh air”.
He explained: “I think Louis Tomlinson especially has been a breath of fresh air because he’s not about the puns and the showbiz one-liners, he’s genuinely saying I don’t think this is great for a technical reason.”
He’s also spotted some positive change in this year’s show, elaborating “I’ve actually enjoyed this year, maybe more than previous years because I like to see the judges giving unpopular criticism sometimes. Actual critique.”
The X Factor returns tomorrow night (November 11) on ITV.
