Neymar may have left Barcelona over a year ago now, but the fallout over his transfer still continues to make headlines.
The latest leak comes from Der Spiegel who reckon that PSG actually spent a whopping €252 million to bring the Brazilian to Paris.
His €222m release clause was paid, but PSG also splashed out €10.7m in commission to Pini Zahavi and the same amount to other representatives.
Neymar’s former club Santos were also winners in the deal. They were due five per cent of the deal and ended up with €8.7m.
PSG may feel it’s money well spent. With Neymar on board they won the treble and are already top of the table by 11 points this season.
However, they are still yet to make an impact in the Champions League and face a real battle to make it through to the knockout stages this year with Napoli and Liverpool ahead of them in Group C.
On the pitch Neymar’s been racking up the goals and assists as you’d expect, but there’s a sense his career is going backwards in Ligue 1.
