Kim Kardashian has confirmed that her Calabasas home is out of danger after being hit by the California wildfires.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star evacuated the Hidden Hills property on Thursday night with her three children, North, five, Saint, two, and nine-month-old Chicago.

It was reported earlier that the fire had spread to the sprawling mansion, which she shares with husband Kanye West, on Friday but Kim, 38, says it fortunately has been contained.

In a series of tweets, the reality star said: ‘I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now have stopped. It doesn’t seems like it is getting worse. God is good. I’m just praying everyone is safe. Fire Fighters, I love you and thank you for doing all that you can to keep us safe!

It comes just after reports that Kim’s stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, has lost her California home in the wildfires.

A rep confirmed to Metro.co.uk that Caitlyn, 69, is safe but did not comment on the state of her property.

Yesterday evening, Kim posted pictures of the Woolsey Fire on her Instagram account after landing in her private jet.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said: ‘Pray for Calabasas. Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up and evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.’

She later thanked the firefighters for their efforts, adding: ‘Thank you for all you do for us!’

Kim’s younger sister Kylie Jenner has now shared concerns for her property and said: ‘Fire is so close to my house, hoping everyone is staying safe. I’m hoping for the best.’

It’s not thought the makeup mogul is at home as she posted a video in a concert arena, with boyfriend Travis Scott carrying their daughter Stormi on his shoulders.

Kendall Jenner is also away at the moment after walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City on Thursday.

Five people have been confirmed dead so far while 150,000 residents in Southern California were also told to leave their homes as the fire continued to spread.

The blaze has also advanced rapidly to the outskirts of the city of Chico early on Friday, forcing thousands to flee.

The Chico Fire Department said: ‘Firefighters continue to actively engage the fire in order to protect life and property.’
